An exciting summer dance & theatre arts day camp for kids 5 to 12 years of age. A full week experience where each day will consist of playing, learning, dancing, and creating. For each dance style, students will not only learn choreography and skills but will also be taken through the history of each style to gain an appreciation for the dances we do today. Each day is themed based on a classic story and will culminate in filming a mini production number for your viewing pleasure.This pricing is for one week of fun and excitement 9 AM - 3 PM from Tuesday, August 4 till Saturday, August 8. at the Don Bosco Youth Centre (10461, 140 St. Surrey)

Our PraiseTEAM Christmas Digital Show, has been produced for all PraiseTEAM members, families, and friends as our celebration of our Jesus’s birth, the reason for the season.
This show is free for everyone to enjoy but we would truly appreciate any amount of support that will go towards an honorarium to the technical staff, hosts and talented emcees who have devoted countless hours putting all performances together to create a memorable & meaningful Christmas Show.
ages 17+
Provide students with lessons, mentorship, and opportunities to define, develop, and strengthen skills in teaching and leading, choreographing/conceptualizing, spacing/staging, and overall project development. Going into this new year, with competitions up in the air as potentials, we have been working diligently to create a season/program that will be more special and beneficial than a traditional season can provide.
Requirement: 4+ years of dance experience.

Large Crew ages 13-17
Elite training group for teens. Developing and strengthening skills for learning, choreography, and individuality.
Requirement: 1 Tech Class
All Girls crew Ages 13-18
An all girls varsity group, building young female dancers into strong women in the community and well rounded dancers. The group will focus on choreography and freestyle development, giving dancers both the discipline of competition and choreography as well as the community and sisterhood in freestyles and battles.
Requirement: 1 tech class
Due to the demand of our senior auditions, and limited space at our physical auditions, we have opened up online video submissions for our senior teams.
1.) Learn the choreography from this tutorial (2 videos — first half and second half) and record yourself doing the choreography!
2.) Upload your submission video to either your Google Drive, Youtube, or your preferred cloud storage provider.

Remember to make sure we can see the link you share! If Youtube, set your video to unlisted. If Google Drive, please double-check the sharing permissions.

Advanced group for kids with a focus on dance training skills, build character and performance through learning choreography and freestyle. They will not only be refined dancers but will build a good community together.
Requirement: 2 tech classes
Small Crew ages 8-12
Elite small crew that not only focuses on dance training and performance but also focuses on growth through hard work, perseverance and friendship.
Requirement: 2 tech classes

PraiseTEAM is happy to welcome you to “Story Camp”! Story Camp is a week-long day camp for kids 6 to 12 years of age.
Our full week experience will consist of playing, learning, dancing, and creating. Although not mandatory, we encourage all participants to dress up on each day related to the following theme:
Tuesday - Aladdin
Wednesday - Lion King
Thursday - Toy Story
Friday - Coco
Saturday - Moana
Please pack the following:
Food - Healthy “nut-free” lunch and snacks; - “No Concessions On-Site”
Drinks - esp. water - fountains will remain closed
Mat (yoga, picnic, etc.)
Face mask
Sanitizer/wipes.
Hat
Sunscreen
Appropriate footwear (no flip-flops)
Extra Change of clothes
Towel
We will provide the following art supplies*:
Crayons
Coloured pencils
Paint
Brush
Scissors
Glue.
Each daily craft will involve different materials.
*We will sanitize all supplies before and after each use. If you have concerns about sharing supplies and spreading the virus, please bring your own supplies according to the list above.
Safety is our top priority. Our camps are led by our trained leaders and will follow strict guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone. We follow strict guidelines in accordance to the directives of the Fraser Health Authority, Provincial Mandates and Health and Safety Standards.
We will actively supervise our camps and will immediately inform parents of any changes in procedures as necessary. We may need to cancel camps if transmission rates go up or a community outbreak occurs.
Our health and safety measures adhere to the health guidance for schools and childcare programs which include the following:
Smaller camp size
Increased outdoor activities
Kids will be put into specific groups.
Routine and frequent environmental cleaning
Explicit policy for children or staff who have the symptoms of a cold, flu, or COVID-19 with coughing or sneezing to not come.
Promote and educate on good hygiene and respiratory etiquette
Hand washing will happen continuously throughout the day
Physical distancing and reducing physical contact through activities.
Kids will have their own designated area to put their belongings and will access in an orderly fashion.
No food sharing
Designated sign-in and sign-out area for parents
A parent or guardian must accompany their children (regardless of age), at daily check-in to complete health screening.

During the lockdown caused by COVID-19, we have kept dancing, staying fit, engaging with our students, and having fun. Although we did not expect our year to roll out this way, we kept in mind to practice doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.
We thank you for all your support. Every action, small or big, goes towards keeping the PraiseTEAM dream alive.
